Resistance to chemical influences

During their lifetime products are not only exposed to classical environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity, but also to chemical influences. Possible substances range from sweat to fuels and cleaning agents. We test the resistance of products to chemical influences in order to make sure that functionality and other product characteristics are not impaired by certain substances.

For components used in food production or in the chemical industry we carry out tests according to the ECOLAB test method 40-1 in order to prove their resistance against ECOLAB cleaning agants.

Moreover, we test the chemical resistance of components built into vehicles. The standard ISO 16750-5, amongst others, specifies corresponding requirements and test methods.
