Noise and vibrations of machinery and devices

We measure noise and vibration emissions of machinery, devices and plants and determine and analyse their time shape, spacial and spectral distribution.

Our services:

  • Measurements according to EN ISO 3741, EN ISO 3744, EN ISO 3745 and EN ISO 9614
  • For household appliances, e.g. washing machines, tumble dryers, cooker hoods, vacuum cleaners

    • sound measurements for the EU energy label (declaration values)
    • psycho-acoustic parameters
    • evaluation of the sound quality of household appliances - SLG Soundlabel

  • For machinery and tools

    • determination of noise and vibration parameters on-site or in our laboratories (reverberation room and anechoic room of accuracy classes 1 from 100 Hz) for conformity assessment procedures according to EU directives (e.g. machinery directive, outdoor directive)
    • emission values at workplaces
    • weighted acceleration values for human vibrations
    • trigger and exposition limit values according to the German regulations on industrial safety and health and the Noise and Vibrations Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance

  • Customer-specific analysis for sound emission, sound intensity and noise source identification
  • Detection of causes of noise and vibration on products
  • Determination of acoustical absorption level of materials
