New battery test system operational
20 additional battery cycling places for lithium-ion batteries
Our new battery test system has been put into operation providing 20 additional test places for battery cycling used for pre-test conditioning of batteries, for battery aging and life-cycle analyses.
The new system can realise charging/discharging processes with a max. current of 62,5A and a max. voltage of 60V per channel as well as a max. power of 2500W per channel.
The equipment works energy-efficiently recycling the discharge energy from the batteries and feeding it back to the system for new charging cycles.
During the cycling process the battery temperature as well as the ambient conditions are constantly monitored.
