Optimising sample preparation and testing
Our department for chemical analytics has recently acquired a cutting mill and a cryogenic mill for optimising the process of grinding tough sample materials to small particles sizes and homogenising them.
Furthermore, we have upgraded our analysis equipment by a new more powerful x-ray fluorescence analyser enabling us to now test single electronic components as well as assembled printed circuit boards even more efficiently for banned substances according to the RoHS directive 2011/65/EU.
In addition, the new x-ray fluorescence analyser will be used to examine and analyse alloys such as tool steels.
