Battery testing according to UL 62133:2015

SLG carries out tests acc. to IEC 62133 and can issue test reports acc. to UL 62133 if required.

The standard UL 62133:2015 for "Secondary Cells And Batteries Containing Alkaline Or Other Non-Acid Electrolytes" determines "Safety Requirements For Portable Sealed Secondary Cells, And For Batteries Made From Them, For Use In Portable Applications". 

This North-American standard has been harmonised completely to IEC 62133.

SLG is a CB testing and certification body acknowledged for the BATT (battery) scope. We carry out tests according to IEC 62133 and can issue test reports according to UL 62133 if required.

Please note that for UL all safety-relevant components used in the battery must have a UL approval.
